The Western Wood Products Association (WWPA) has long been recognized as a leader in establishing the criteria for grading lumber produced in the western US and their stamp on our products assures our customers that the lumber they are buying will perform to the exacting standard that the grade indicates.
Swanson Group mills use quality control checks and visual and automated inspection of the finished product to ensure the highest quality. However refining the manufacturing process can be just as vital to overall quality at the mill. The WWPA – QMS program is designed to help improve quality control management practices, achieve greater efficiencies, improve communication, and encourage all employees to get involved with continuously improving quality.
Swanson Group's dimension mill and stud mill are both certified under the WWPA – Quality Management System.
